Obesity and dementia – have more in common than you think

dimentiaAccording to a new study, people who have a high body mass index (BMI) are more likely to develop dementia than those with a normal weight. In 2015, the number of people with dementia reached almost 45 million, two times more than in 1990. Obesity and dementia appear to be epidemics tracking together. This study suggests that maintaining a healthy weight could prevent, or at least delay, dementia.
