Dr. Aakriti Gupta grew up in India and stayed through medical school at Panjab University. She’s a researcher through and through–consumed with the exploration of unique research methods to improve cardiovascular outcomes. This brought her to Yale University where she worked with a leading cardiovascular research group and completed her internal medicine residency. She is now a cardiology fellow in training at Columbia University. Her work has appeared in top medical journals including Circulation and JACC and received media coverage from news channels including CBS and NBC. She is now applying her deep understanding of heart disease epidemiology and biostatistics to develop novel methods of communication of personalized cardiac risk to make your journey toward a healthy heart a fun experience.
